A group of year 11 students were very lucky last week to receive a visit from Dr Saran Davies from Oxford University who helped them to develop techniques to answer exam questions, relate theory to real life research; and gave her experiences about university, careers in research and beyond!
We are incredibly proud of all who attended as Saran was very impressed, saying that students gave some of the most thoughtful input across all of the schools she had visited. Da iawn pawb!

They had all qualified for the for the event by swimming qualifying times in previous galas and there were lots of personal bests and medals won over the course of the weekends racing.
On Wednesday 31st January 2024, a few of our high achieving maths pupils took part in the UKMT Intermediate maths challenge, and we have recently received a fantastic set of results.
