It has been quite an emotional and overwhelming process for us to nominate the three incredible young men pictured below for the Pembrokeshire Young Achievers Awards this year. Liam, Sean and Finley are three exceptional people, and it is fantastic and well deserved that they have been recognised at last nights celebrations. We nominated the trio for the Inspiration Award, which they won, but as well as that they came away overall winners of the Young Achievers of the Year- an honour it is difficult to articulate, especially with so many worthy young people in the running.

These Milford Haven Students always represent themselves, their peers and the whole Milford community to the highest standard. Their voice and actions are much more powerful with a larger impact than they can imagine.

Liam, Sean and Finley have  worked extremely hard to address a perceived negative perception of young people by promoting positive interactions between them and other members of the community. They have showcased the active role they can play in improving their community and continue to do so on an ongoing basis, week in and week out.  We could not be more proud of you.

The school Wind Band are also taking part as well as numerous ensembles, so as always the Carol Service looks set to be a great night. Any queries, pupils should please check with Mrs Lloyd. 🎶

The well- being and mental health of everyone here at Milford Haven School is of paramount importance to us. Many of our students can be affected by loss, and sometimes it can be very hard to know how to best support young people affected by grief. Below is a link to a fantastic free resource we have been made aware of, please share with anyone that you think might find it useful.
