Shwmae, and welcome back to this week’s blog. This week we are celebrating Create Week 2024 by showcasing below the amazing art work that was created at our Pupil and Parent RRS Big Picture Project.
Milford Haven School’s Art Club wanted to produce a piece of art that showcased the amazing work that pupils, staff and the wider school community are doing on our journey towards achieving the Gold Rights Respecting School Award.
Art Club worked with Miss George to create a plan of action before the event deciding what they wanted the big picture to look like and how they wanted to showcase the articles.
The board was the best bit to make as pupils and parents got to get messy by flicking multiple different colours onto the background before painting the border using MHS school colours.
With the board drying the next step was to create the articles. Pupils and parents used templates of mobile phones, laptops and smart watches to display the articles.
Once the articles were ready it was time to put the finishing touches onto the background.
After a few days of drying time Miss George and the Art Club were able to add the final pieces and finish the Big Picture Project. What an amazing result. Thank you to all parents and pupils who took part in this fantastic project.
