We would like to reiterate the information and advice given to schools this week regarding the use of masks in educational settings.
Yesterday’s Welsh Government announcement did not make the use of face masks in schools compulsory, however they are recommended for areas where social distancing is more challenging, such as corridors and in the canteen. At this time staff and students can choose to wear face masks should they wish, however we strongly recommend that everyone continue to follow government guidance and use masks where appropriate to support the safety of everyone.
We will review the situation should we receive any new information or updated guidance from Welsh Government or the Local Authority, and as always will keep you informed of any changes made. Diolch
