FOOD
Create a poster on symptoms, cause and management of type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

PRODUCT DESIGN
Produce a detailed classroom poster explaining the difference between; ferrous metals, non ferrous metals, alloys, thermoplastics, thermosetting plastics, hardwoods, softwoods and manufactured boards.

CAD
Finish off design ideas page if not complete – fully coloured and annotated.
Use A4 paper. Pupils need to write name, date and gwaith dosbarth on the top.
Create 4 different design development stages for their chosen brand/logo from the initial ideas lesson
The 4 logos need to fill the page, be fully coloured and labelled with positive and negative features and what changes have been made at each stage and why

TEXTILES
Create a flow diagram to explain the process of tie dye; use pictures, diagrams and descriptions to explain the process.

SYSTEMS AND CONTROL
Use the Google Classroom slides template, work through the example programs on MakeCode, screengrab and include your own program versions.
Use Tinkercad (Class Codes are in Google Classroom and your Nickname is your first name and surname initial added together -no caps no spaces eg jackb) to develop the 3D Printable part of your lamp. If you are not 3D Printing any parts then try to do an accurate, full size drawing of your final design.
Use cereal box card to make a model of your lamp – make it accurate and full size. Take pictures and upload these to the Classroom Slides presentation.
In the Classroom you will also find a takeaway homework sheet with extension tasks.

Should we be developing the rainforests?. Using your classwork and own research answer the key question in you class book or on paper. Include:
Introduction to set the scene What is a rainforest? why they are important?
Explain how we use the rainforest and the consequences.
Does everyone agree we should look after the rainforests of the world? What other view points do people have? What do you think?
Have you explained a range of views about how people interact with the rainforest?
Have you explained how rainforests are affected by decisions, actions and events in other places?

Music from Wales
Research one singer/band from Wales. Design an information leaflet about the singer/band and their songs. You should have a title, pictures and a written paragraph. You could extend your work by finding out some sales facts and figures or by reviewing one of the songs. Work can be brought into school on return or emailed in.

All work can be found in our 8Teifi folder on Google Classroom. Individual pupils are able to access this.

TTRockstars is an interactive maths game which reinforces multiplication and division facts. All pupils have their individual logins with them.

Lexia is an online resource which we use to develop reading and spelling strategies. Pupils also have individual logins for this.

In addition to subject area folders there are also folders containing Website links, fun things to do and topics of general interest.
