The community of Milford Haven were invited to attend the annual Milford Haven School Carol Service on Thursday 8th December at St Katherine’s and St Peter’s Church. After two years of virtual concerts, pupils and staff were thrilled to be able to bring this festive favourite back to the church for Christmas 2022.
The evening started with a welcome back from Father Andrew of St Katherine’s and St Peter’s Church and a welcome from Miss Mansell. This was followed by a reading from Harry Young and Mari Owen, Milford Haven School’s Head Prefects.
The Choir then kicked off the performances with beautiful renditions of the Christmas classics, Somewhere In My Memory and Somewhere Only We Know. George Wheeler, Owen Rickard and Cariad Picton, Senior Prefects also delivered readings and another Senior Prefect, Bethan Raymond performed a solo of the ever popular Underneath The Tree.
The Band gave fantastic performances of Sleigh Ride and Christmas At The Movies and more readings followed from Millie Lewis, Olivia Williams, Maddie Evans and Ffion Walter Jones.
Even the congregation joined in with Hark the Herald and Oh Come All Ye Faithful before Mr John, Deputy Head gave thanks to all for coming and everyone finished the evening with a fantastic sing song of Feliz Navidad.
