As adults we all check for the basics before we leave home- keys, wallet, phone. ✅
MHS pupils we need you all to check before leaving home that you have – a face mask, a drink of water, your own set of stationery. ✅
We at MHS are doing everything we can to support the safety of our whole school community, but it is vital we all play our part. ⚓️

Meeting former students and hearing about their journey can boost young people’s confidence and motivation, helping to transform their life chances and raise aspirations. Our mission at Milford Haven School is to build a thriving and engaged alumni community, which improves students’ motivation and confidence.
Access to relatable role models broadens students’ horizons, helping them to imagine a world beyond their own. Having grown up in the same community and sat in the same classrooms former students are ideal volunteers to be such role models.
If you are a former pupil of Milford Haven School please connect with us via the form on our website if you would like to share your experiences and achievements. Diolch
Tomorrow is World Mental Health Day 2020, and our wonderful sixth formers are keen to promote the help available for pupils at MHS. Our senior prefect team developed a short slide show which has been shared with the whole school, identifying where pupils can turn for help if needed.
Our Head Girl has also generously provided cakes for our sixth form students to encourage them all to take a break and stay connected with friends, as they can be one of our biggest support systems in times of need.
Diolch yn fawr to our sixth form for consistently being such a positive example for our younger pupils.

MHS 100 REASONS: We are almost half way to reaching our goal of having 100 people sign up to our MHS 100 Reasons project. We would really like to give away our first payment to the community on the last day of term (16.10.20), but we need your help. It is really easy to sign up if you would like to take part in the project, but equally you can support us by simply sharing our posts to get the word out around Milford Haven. ‘MHS 100 Reasons’ is a fundraising concept devoted to making Milford Haven and our wider catchment area a better place, started by an initial group of 100 people each donating 50p a week. Each fortnight anyone from the contributing group can nominate a good cause to be the beneficiary of the £100 pot generated by our cumulative donations. It might be a local club that needs new equipment, a lady by you who's raising money for blankets for the homeless or someone that wants to organise a street clean up. The only rule we have is that nominations cannot have a religious or political bias. Other than that, the choice is yours to select what you value in your community, and identify who would benefit most. The project looks to inject £2600 over a year back into Milford Haven via small donation pots of £100 every two weeks. What a difference that could make to our town! If you would like to support this project please follow the link below for a sign up sheet, or contact gbaker@milfordhavenschool.co.uk for more information if you have any questions. At Milford Haven School we are proud to use our social media platforms to share an insight into life here at MHS. This page allows you to share in celebrations with us, keep up to date with school events and stay connected with us.
Please note that this page is used as an information sharing platform, utilised by us to spread news and updates across the school community, but it is not a forum to discuss individual pupils or concerns. Sadly if engagement on the page is inappropriate, such as using foul language or disclosing personal information about a child, this will result in you being removed from the page. We have a responsibility to safeguard our young people, and being a school profile we have children of all ages who can view the content of this page.
Whilst our message is clear that social media is not the appropriate place to discuss individual pupil concerns, we have a host of people at school available to support you and several platforms you can contact us on. Our main school number is 01646690021 and our general email is admin@milfordhavenschool.co.uk, from here our fantastic support staff at reception can direct you to the most appropriate person available. Some of the key staff you may want to link in with include your child’s Head of House, Form Tutors, our Engagement Team, or our Strategic Leaders (Ms Mansell Years 7&8 or Mrs Griffiths Years 9, 10, 11, and 13).
Thank you to everyone who has used our page appropriately, we look forward to continuing positive engagement with our whole school community. Diolch yn fawr.
