Year 10 MAT pupils have experienced a fantastic day at the University of Bristol recently.
Here they have had their first tutorial as part of the Scholars Programme, enabling them to work closely with a PhD student in the subject of criminology. This is the start of an exciting journey for these students with a prestigious University, designed to guide pupils through a series of tutorials and a dissertation for a real taste of learning at degree level.
We look forward to seeing their efforts and sharing heir successes during the coming months.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Dan Mills from Martha’s Vineyard on Milford Waterfront, for his very kind donation of crockery for the Hospitality and Catering course in school!
It is extremely kind of you to make such a generous donation, and the items will be very useful in helping pupils in the presentation of their dishes. Diolch yn fawr.
The Summer 2020 exam timetable is now live on our school website.

Hafan Cymru are working with the Dyfed-Powys Police, Crime Commissioner and Hywel Dda Health Board to engage young people (14-25) with the future of policing in the region.
They are running a survey seeking young people’s views on policing, crime and health that will ensure that the views of young people in this area are heard. Below is a link to the survey.
https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/einllais.
They are hoping to get feedback on the survey from at least 300 young people aged 14-25 in the Dyfed Powys area. If any of our MHS pupils age 14 or over are able to fill out this survey your feedback would be very much appreciated.

Last week the local round of the Milford Haven Rotary Young Musician Competition was held here at Milford Haven School.
Adjudicator Mr Peter Griffths commented on the very high standard of performances, and also on the improvements pupils have made since last year.
Trumpeter Rhys Evans of yr 11 again won the competition, going through to the next round which is being held next week- pob lwc Rhys! The runner up was drummer Dylan Sanders-Swales.
We would like to thank the Rotary Club of Milford Haven for supporting our musicians, and for providing ongoing opportunities for them to perform in public.
Congratulations to the all the MHS pupils who collected their Maths and English results last week, it was fantastic to see your hard work pay off!
