Last Sunday the Prime Minister set out his changes to the lockdown rules in England, however many of these changes do not apply in Wales.
To ensure clarity for us all we shared this video at the start of the week, please take a minute to watch this short clip from Wales’ First Minister Mark Drakeford setting out the position in Wales.

We hope that you have all found our ‘New Covid Curriculum’ a positive change, thank you to everyone that has sent us supportive feedback this week. This has again cemented that this new curriculum is a more manageable and sustainable way of our young people continuing their learning journey from home at this time.
We have received lots of photos from MHS pupils this week showing us some of learning activities you have taken part in, staff love seeing what you are all getting up to so thank you for sending them in and please keep them coming.
We are currently working really hard on a makeover for our Year 6 transition website page. For all those pupils about to transition to Milford Haven School, we know that our website is usually a fantastic source of information to help guide you through this process. With the current situation we are facing this year transition will look very different for our Year 6 pupils, and so alot of the information currently on the page will not be applicable.
Please keep your eyes peeled as we are aiming by the end of the month to have rejigged the page and uploaded some helpful resources specifically to support all those families joining Milford Haven School this year.
Your teachers and some MHS pupils have been busy recording chapters of ‘Stormbreaker’ over the past few weeks, and you are invited to read the book with us, just listen, or both!
A link to the book is on the Book Club Classroom (you will need to register) and there are so many books for you to read for free. If you would like to join, then the Classroom code is: txkjpx3
Maybe the whole family could listen in? There is also a great film of the book available too.
Look out for more collaborations coming soon!
