At Milford Haven School we expect everyone, except those exempt for genuine medical reasons, to wear face masks in areas of the school where social distancing is not possible. This includes the canteen and all school corridors. We take the safety of our young people, and also the wider Milford Haven community, extremely seriously- and so would like to thank everyone for their cooperation in using face masks where directed on school site.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: In an effort to keep everyone safe no visitors will be permitted onto school site without prior arrangement. If you need to attend school site for any reason, please phone us on 10464 690021 and make an appointment. In line with our current risk assessments relating to CVD, we are limiting the number of visitors on school site at any given time to protect the safety of the whole community. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

The scheduled Parent and Carers Information Evening for Year 9, scheduled for 24.9.20, is sadly cancelled on school site and will not take place as planned in its usual format. We are however still keen to share vital information with our pupils and their families. Any parents that would like to request a copy of the resource pack we would have shared, and accompanying presentation on how to use the resources effectively, are asked to please email Mrs M Griffiths on mgriffiths@milfordhavenschool.co.uk . All parents and carers that email Mrs Griffiths to request a copy of the resources detailed above will be sent the information packs on Thursday 24.9.20 at 6pm.

A huge thank you to the local residents of Herbrandston, they have collected vouchers and exchanged them for a gigantic bag of sanitary products which have been donated to school. Thank you all so much for this kind and generous donation, it is a huge help for us to support stocking our ‘Red Boxes’- which are free sources of sanitary products available to any girl at MHS that needs them.

A huge thank you to Milford Haven W.I., who last week generously donated £250 to Milford Haven School.

Donations such as this make a huge and positive impact on the students here at MHS, and your continued support is greatly appreciated by the whole school community.

We are very lucky to have such a wonderful senior prefect team. We are putting together short profiles to share with you next week so you can get to know these exceptional young people a bit better, and what they hope to achieve during their last year with us here at MHS.
